This was a week of business with a wonderful talent show (if you see Mrs. Hatch, "Thank You for the organization"), well organized book fair that has raised a lot of money for our school (if you see Mrs. Roest say "Thank you for the organization!") and lastly report cards came out today.
AR Books Make sure that your student is reading their book at home and completing their AR test. For the remainder of the school year this is what they will need: April: 2 books at their level May: 2 books at their level June:1 book at their level What we are studying Social: Our Provinces History and the First Nations Science: Unit Test Lights & Shadow, Simple Machines LA: Finishing our newspapers Math: Telling Time Health: Sugar in our Diet | Progress Reports Your students have taken time to come up for a math and a reading or writing goal. We have been talking about how it is not effective if we just make a goal but don't make a plan and mark our progress. Over the next 2 months we are going to work hard to implement our plans and prepare ourselves for grade 5. To help us accomplishing our goals but need your help to make sure we are implementing our plan. Please note, there are some students who are still missing assignments that have taken them for homework and once they have been handed in their grades will be adjusted.
