Homework Help Links Mrs. Cossette's Prayer Week Mrs. Cossette Prayer Week: Starting in the month of November I will start to praying through my class list, taking a week to pray for each student and their families. I will be contacting each family and discussing with your child any prayer requests and praise items that they would like me to pray for that week. | This week seemed to fly by with only having three full days of teaching. Although it was short, we were able to get through a lot of learning. Over this past week we have done this:
Prayer Request: During our devotion time we had a discussion about what it mean to say Jesus is our Saviour in other worlds. As a class, we prayed for the Christians kids in Iraq who are being martyred because of the ISIS. Check out the email that I received requesting prayer on the button of the left. Please have an open discussion with your student about what is happening in our world and for the kids that are being martyred because they believe in Jesus. What to look forward to this upcoming week:
What we will be learning next week:
Homework: Math due Monday, Oct 27 I have sent home a math worksheet for the students to complete (some students finished in class). This is a topic that we have covered extensively and they should not need your assistance. In case you need a refresher here is a how to link and a video if you or your child needs assistance. Spelling Test & Homework due, Oct 31 I have uploaded the link to the spelling list on Spelling City and the spelling list is also posted to help students learn their words. Memory Verse: Due Oct, 31 God blessed them and said to them, “Be fruitful and increase in number; fill the earth and subdue it. Rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky and over every living creature that moves on the ground.” Genesis 1:28 Please talk with your student about how this verse is applicable to our lives as steward over God’s creation? What do you as a family do that has a positive impact on God’s creation? |
